The ballet and jazz workshop this week was really great! even though we ached a lot. Oh man, i'll miss getting up at 8, doing ms nicki's stretches and ms emma's jazz. Oh and the whole lot of us crapping over lunch :p The two items we learnt over the workshop were really fun too- My Strongest Suit(really energetic) and a classical ballet(love the music!) Ysd's performance was hectic yet fun-filled at the same time. We were rushing to change into our various costumes and had barely enough time to warm up. I'll miss those fabulous teachers(: but we'll be seeing them again next year :D

Haha, i've decided to blog again after a long hiatus.

I've been such a slacker after FYEs and my ballet exam.

All i do is eat, sleep and laze around...

ballet's uninteresting. cos all we ever do is rehs. which apparently suck.

Yes, they can be fun sometimes but predominantly boring.

I sound so pessimistic.

We got 3 papers back today. Carelessness.

our performance:

i was really nervous when i went on stage.
as the music started, i calmed myself down a little and i just danced my heart out.
hee, glad single pirouettes were ok(: was really off in the morning so phewww.
rest of the dance... good :D or so i thought.

i was prepared to go out smiling and celebrate or smth. BUT, i saw some ppl crying ): i then learnt that some mistakes happened and yeah... it wasn't our best.

we watched SAC and SSS and springfield perform. SAC was nice(: SSS cute and springfield..... nvm. not bad la(:

ms chiam asked us to go back so yeah ): couldnt watch the rest.

in school, she 'reprimanded' us. initially, i thought the banging thing wasnt that severe but the way she said it make it sound as though it was really obvious and our gold would drop to a silver?! ):

yeah.. but i still reckon we've got a chance to get gold honours. ohwell, shan't have such surreal expectations. hmmmm, lets see. at least bronze :D ah, an easily achievable goal (:

i'm just being lame. haha

Omg, OBS is such a wonderful experience. COLUMBUS!!!!!!!! we see India(: but it's actually America! oh man, i really miss Daniel and Nadia :/ i miss not bathing and sleeping in those comfy tents. I MISS COUNTERPAIN! hahaha. i doubt i'll have time to finish up a whole outline on what i did. land and sea expedition was totally amazing. we saw a pregnant monitor lizard and i jumped out of the kayak to pee in the sea. aha. i still can't believe was kayaked around pulau ubin ofr 6+ hours. so cool. and i got a disgusting shorts tan. haha. the inverse tower was so fun(: and COLUMBUS is like THE BEST WATCH EVER. aha, we were so evil. we found like 20 extra tent pegs. hoho. and Daniel said the seniors said he looked like mr teo?!?!?! am i hearing things? he does not la! haha. i saw a wild boar and its offspring during land ex, so cute! and i wore a life jacket too. but it helps when your shoulders ache from carrying the heavy tents and havesacks. I WANT TO GO FOR OBS AGAIN.

hehe. we went to SINGAPORE DISCOVERY CENTRE. gawwwwd, our class totally rocks man. the class bonding trip really worked :D

in the morning we went to the canteen and had a "party". we played the pen*s game whereby you say that word from soft to loud. oh my, it was pretty embarassing but fun :D shoo's hilarious. aha. discovery centre was fun :D though kinda dumb. yeh. then went to have lunch. didnt eat alot. AND DANCE WAS CANCELLED! so noelle, denise and i headed to pp. after shopping around for a while, we decided to head to sakae cos noelle claimed she was so rich and treated us. haha. how nice(: thanks! yeah, and we saw mrs m. lim there too. haha. after eating, we headed to sasa cos noelle wanted to get her mascara. i decided to sniff the perfumes cos i had nth better to do. and guess what!? i found ms marina's perfume! i think. hehe. aah, its scent just makes me feel so calm and serene. like i'm at the beach or smth. ahahhaha. okay, im crapping. yeh. shall blog again another time.

NZ WORKSHOP'S WAS REAL FUN TODAY :D ohmygosh. i just realised i've been dancing non stop since last thurs(:

HIPHOP was fun as usual (: we finished off ms new booty and she taught a little more of sexy back(: WE'RE DOING SALSA TMR!!! and guess what... WE'RE USING CHARACTER SHOES?!?!?! isn't that just weird? haha. but i think it'll be fun. in fact, ANYTHING we do w ms marina is always great! i hope she never leaves sg :( she's just so awesome and pretty and cool and fun and great and fabulous....(i can continue describing but i think i'll have to look into the dictionary to search for more words) AHA! i left out one extremely important one. FUNKYLICIOUS! hahaha.
WE ARE THE SCAVENGERS well actually im not. cos im the one leaving food behind for van, gan and noelle to eat. hehe. you can't blame me for having a small stomach! plus my torso's so short so my intestines and all are probably squashed like sardines.

OHH MAN!
nz workshop's HIPHOP (MARINAAAA!) was AWESOME! we learnt a bit of sexy back :D :D and some i found you, ms new booty or something! hahaha. it was real fun though i was like dying under my leo, tee and TEKNO FUNK JACKET WHICH IS SO FREKAING THICK! haha. Repetoire was alright but i still dont get what mr rumbal says sometimes. he talks so fast and his accent is so aussie-ish. he pronounces ten and tin and so on... haha. but i guess i evetually made out what he was trying to say(: we're going to learn paquita! but today we learnt some dumb jumpy west coast thingy. some fat sally thingy. i thought he said fucelli-the pasta at first. hahaha. its fun la but who will enjoy watching us jump around like we're in grade 1?! i hope it gets better tmr(: then classical. THE KOREAN GIRL IS SO UTTERLY FAB FAB FAB! her turnout is like _!!_ (thats supposed to be like her feet) and she's so flex! plus her extentions are wow. and she's 13. ms steele like spotted her from barre and i think she'll win the scholarship. ): i feel very intimidated. oh well... i guess working w ppl better than you are is good (: you get to push youself! but on the other hand you'll get all depressed :( heh. im tired... ballet non stop since last thurs?! madness. sigh...

DANCE WAS TIRING BUT FUN :D :D

haha. met up w daph, shihua and noelle like wayyyy before dance started to have macs for breakfast. hehe. long time since i ate macs hotcakes. sadly, i couldn't finish. haha.
OH OH OH! WE'RE DOING GRANDE VALSE FOR PROMOTION DAY!!!!!!! so exciting! but its different. i think ms lee's version is nicer and more challenging. its en pointe too(: and we're getting romantic tutu's too :D hurray.
then i had to carry the grande valse costums(crestar one) all around cos ms chiam asked noelle and i to bring for her to see. grrr. it was kinda hilarious cos in the mrt i gave up carrying it and hung it on the rail above. so it was like swinging all around. haha. and i don't like my ending pose!!!! its so horrid. its like a little kid's pose. and im in the middle of nowhere!! aah. its retarded la.
aft dance, followed daph to watch the la sylphide preview (: met germaine there and walked around for a while and then ate dinner. oh man! germ's not performing on the day im watching!!! nat clarke and toru ain't toooooo :( NOOOOOOOOOO. haha. then we saw all the dancers streaming in. aha. the person actually thought i was performing cos i was carrying g valse costume. hahaha. so hilarious. la sylphide preview was not bad. the first one was better though. cos in the second one it seemed like haiying wasn't doing full out. besides, nat clarke and toru did the first one so i guess im being biased. hehe :D toru's so funny and nice(:

BEACH!

Today was fun (:
Haha. We (as in Kim, LXQ, Sha and I) met up at the bus stop outside school and went to parkway to meet Rachel. Halfway, Kim and LXQ disappeared and Sha said they went to buy breakfast and would meet us at Macs later. Rachel, Sha and I walked to ECP. We took the longer route but found our way to Mac thanks to my great sense of direction. we saw the dolphin statue (that i saw when walking to ECP in P5 for 1.6km run) so i knew we we're on the right track (:

We went to Mac to buy food first because we didn't have a clue to where Kim and LXQ were. All of a sudden, they popped up behind us and LXQ was carrying a cake. *THANKS YOU GUYS (: LOVE Y'ALL!!!!!! so they actually disappeared to buy a cake. Haha. so early though. my birthday is like next Sunday! but still... it was really super nice of them to plan this surprise for me (: (: (: Hehe. it was a CHOCOLATE cake (: mm. so yummy. kim gave me a humungous slice which I stuffed myself with because they forced me too! Haa.

After eating the cake. We rented bikes and cycled to the one end of ecp. then we turned around and decided to cycle to bedok jetty… and guess what. My bike didn’t have a bell! So I cycled behind kim for 'safety' purposes. haha. It was extremely exhausting. gosh. My calves and top thigh hurts. But that’s the muscle that you work when you cycle! You can’t work inner thigh?! Unless you cycle turnout-ed. Right. Then it’ll look damn wrong. Ahem. So anyway, we cycled to Bedok jetty and took tons and tons of pictures(: haha. Yeah. Then went to parkway and ate and went home.

Whoohoo! the performances ROCKED! i think it's like one of the best or maybe the best performance i took part in! and the shanghai ppl are so good. everyone says that they are so coordinated and darn flexible. and their cartwheels and front flips are so nice man.

National day celebratinos was a total bore. *pictures are on navina's blog

sunday-monday
reached airport and lugged my luggage along. The sea of turquiose ppl was so significant. Met up with shi hua and all. VANN AH! was late. but its ok. since our darn flight was delayed till 11:40 since our plane, delayed. The plane had to do an emergency landing os a passenger needed to go to the hospital. yeah. in the transit lounge went to a really nice toilet that has a view of the aeroplanes like those in the viewing mall . oh! and my bro was unusally nice to me(: haha bought me fries and nuggets. awww... haha! 12 am on the plane, MOVIE MARATHON STARTs. whoots! 10 hours on the plane of movies with no parents talling you to turn off the lights. watched big mommas house2 but was too tired so went to sleep. Slept like a pig. haha. i drooled a little =/ nz was 4 hours ahead of time, so by then it was shining really bright outside. breakfast*( food wasnt very nice.) urgh. reached auckland at i forgot what time, took a bus down to the domestic airport. Our flight was cancelled due to the bad weather. WE WAITED AND WAITED UNTIL 5 pm before we could check in. so we missed one days class. reached wellington at night, everything was so cold! lol i kinda freaked out when i got out of airport. bus drove us to lower hutt road, angus inn. met the cockatoo PICKLES! haha. adorable parrot who can say hello and byebye in NZ accent. it'll make funny noises too. i was bunked in with feng yi and wen qi.
sleep. ahh.. the bed was freaking comfy(:

had our very first daily routine. Woke up and went for breakfast. heh. walked to chilton school and had our very first classical class. It was so cold! we wore our clothes to dance and stripped down to our leo and tights by centre. Ms Bronwyn was so nice(: after that was hiphop. ms marina ! :D FINALLY get to see her. hiphop dead rocks ma socks man. so fun. wished it'll last longer. hahahhaa. never done it so well before. walked to uni campus for our crappy lunch. walked to lower hutt studios for contemp and jazz class. it was SOO cold i couldnt even dance, dance so crappily over there. ugh. i hated it at first. the flooring sucked to make matters worse. ended quite badly. went to ballet shop, bought my lambs wool(which cannot be found in sing) and miniature pointe shoes :D NZians are damn friendly, so nice and warm. after that went for repertoire , which was just free class. mr rumbal rocks. he's such a wonderful teacher. and funny one too. dinner, went for dinner at chinese restaurant. didn't eat too much cos wasnt hungry. and then they gave us our MAAMAAAAAS (sheep keychain) SO CUTE CAN. i hung it on my school bag. haha. played zong ji mi ma to finish up the food and that amanda was eating a big bowl of rice can! ms lee was so shocked with it. HAHA. so funny. i think we slept early today because we were all tired.

same classes again, yet this time during contemp I ENJOYED MYSELF!!!! soo fun!!! i didnt really care about the cold now (it wasnt so cold like yet.) and i really love the dances. so sososososo fun. jazz was better. repertoire was kinda SUCKY! i really hated the dance at first la. cus like mr iron and steele went through it so fast. but got it in the end(: yay! repertoires was rosefairy in sleeping beauty and don quixote. bowling at night, was quite fun la. jas was our scorer. haha. my score was ONLY 73. so low. yay. i got a strike! and a spare. then tonight came our crazy night la. played taboo and cards(:

eveything the same, but this time during lunch break ms marina came down with her techno funk jackets!!! way cool. at 65bucks, but didnt really mind the cost. haha. got the pink and white pullover in the end. everyone was going crazy. the nike trackpants will be coming down in dec, i shall wait :D enjoyed contemp class for the last time, took photo with liz (she rocks, shes so pretty :D) and todays repertoire was much better la. after that was shopping. didn't really manage to get any nice stuff though. haha. the disgusting shop rocks la! haha. so funny. candy g-string underwear... a boob cup. hahaha. practiced rosefairy with vann and gan while lihui andvic recorded a video of us. shi hua was eating GUILINGGAO???? so random. ... vann knocked into the wall while doing pirouettes! (and later i realised gan did the same, but she fell to the ground) vic and li hui recorded it. the video was freking funny! i laughed like shit. must put on youtube. i cant remember what we did aft that =/ OH! cards again(: so funn!

stjames theatre to watch NZRB!!!!!!!!! omgomgogogomgomgomgomgogogogmomgomg the frekaing person didnt give us enough time to watch master classes! they were damn professional and GOOD. love them man. went to theatre somewhere, then to tepapa museum to watch LOTR exhibition. veryvery cool. lifed the guy's leather cloth covering his thing. haha. he wore underwear. went to NZschool of dance, had class with the artistic director (he looks cute.) heh. and the clasical class w the director was really fun, especially centre. later watched the students in performances (christina is so good! used to be from sba) i think i will never be like them. sigh. watched contemp dancers warm up. thats where all the infatuation for funky socks guy started. (by the way its legwarmers: hot PINK stripeys! ) gan wanted to take photo with them. so in the end four of us kena scolded. haha. another scolding in hotel. ugh. felt terrible.

started off with jazzarama. learnt another new dance :) later went back to inn to take the bus to city area. the shopping really sucks man. 2 hours for 2 shops only, and i dont know WHY. so annoyiing... helped ms kok buy BK cos didn't want to shop. i bet everyone thought we were crazy. buying 16 meals?!?! didn't buy anything.haha. went back to inn, did like 30 min shopping at westfield mall and 6 of us dashed to chilton cus ms lee left without us!!! realised i couldnt even sustain a 100 metres! we were panting already. whats gonna happen to my 2.4.... lol. rehearsed hiphop, we were performing with ms marina's teknofunk dancers :)))))) they so ROCKS!!! they;re amazing hiphoppers. ending post , our leader was shakira and beth :D yay i love them!hoho. they're so nice ok! after that went to the hall for performance. summer of love dance
was another big hit. hehheh.lovin'the dance for a record 2 years already :)pizza time! dinner. i ate.... 2 slices and 2 biscuit ice cream (can i tell you something NZ food and junkies are the best man. ) hugged marina THRICE:D will miss her, but shes coming back in dec!oh and tonight was the most craziest night!! haah. the dog. it all started when my maid and i were walking home from the bus stop. it was rather late. then like this huge brownish white dog popped by and started sniffing at my maid and i. we just kept still. then it went away. and we carried on walking. then i came and we stopped. it just went on like that till we reached home and managed to lock it out. it had a collar. then incident #02. i was walking back and it went up to me AGAIN. gosh. it like prevented me from walking any further. then this lady came and the dog rushed to her. then it rushed to me again. she grabbed a big log like thing and used it to threaten the dog. i think the dog wanted to play fetch or something but it eventually went away(: pheww. well... my brother told me he got chased by the dog. hahaha. here goes... he was at the street soccer court then. the dog stood just outside the gate. he rammed the ball against the fence to scare the dog away. it went away but came back aft a while. hahaha. then i think the gate somehow got open or smth cos the dog came in and chased him. HAHAHA. but he rammed the ball at it again. it missed but was a close shot. and he said the dog whimpered as it went away. gosh. that dog huh.. i hope it finds its owner soon =l

TODAY WAS ENJOYABLE(: charades-

yeah... im blogging again. apparently i get the equal amount of rest during the hols =/ grrr... but today was fun(:

sunday class is so crowded! i can barely work properly. haii... i don't like using the wall as my barre! its like all flat and ungrippy! the worse thing is that noelle felt smth sticky on the wall which she said is nose shittt. eek x/ and the flooring w the tapes stuff is annoying. i hate the fish tank studio! hmph. anw, since we (as in me, shi hua, noelle and lihui) had like 3 hours till reh, we went to mac to eat(: haha. our asses just got glued to the chairs and we're kind of lazy to move at first. lihui and noelle went to get their stuff while shihua and i stacked cards. needless to say, it failed. i guess it was because our hands we're all shaky aft ballet. hahaha. yeah. then aft we bought our food and ate it. we played the one-word-that-consists-of-two-words-in-the-dictionary game. hahaha. i forgot the name for it. like erm... starfish or broadband and stuff. well we kind of got bored of it and changed to some naming animal game. haha. then it was another game like for example the topic is famous ppl. like i start w maria sharapova then you have to name someone famous whose name starts w a. hmm.. like amanda bynes. hahaha. yea... then we went on to CHARADES! gosh it was fun(: shihua and lihui paired up and noelle and i paired up. i had to act out first and they gave me poseidon. O-K. i was doing shit at first like put the mc nugget box there and used the tissue paper to over turn the nugget box. hahaha. well actually, the nugget box was supposed to be poseidon and tissue paper the row wave. hahaha. well that failed miserably so i got up and did the titanic thing.... as it the raise up arms thing. gosh. so embarassing. hahaha. hmm... then we gave shi hua one for li hui to guess. i think it was cinderalla man. kind of hard but she got it lah. haha. then memoirs of a geisha(so easy! just do the jap ins) , ultraman, failure to launch... oh we gave shi hua king kong just for viewing pleasure. hahhaa. it was worth it to see her box her *ahem. hahaha. then aquamarine. rahhh... i was trying to do like we're in ? Went to watch grease after going on a FABULOUS outing to ECP today. hahaha. i like my cat tattoo :D hahaha.

Hmm... i REALLLY have to say that the sound came out so sucky and ear piercing. it was either tooo loud OR too soft. They should have just held it at esplanade! It'll be so much better. Well... the production itself was rather good i felt. Or was it because i wasnt really expecting much since the reviews from my friends weren't too good and it was higher than my expectations in the end. Haha. the turnout wasn't too good though. So many empty places. I thought the light managers and set designers did an awesome job though(: hahaha. so did the cast. i enjoyed the havd jive part in particular(:

I can't believe i'm saying this. Today's dance was so fun Fun FUN! heh heh. Ms chiam allowed us to just dance in our shorts and blouse(: OH! i still can't believe she's a breaker! omg. thats freaking cool la(: she promised to teach us a lil anw(: whoo. yup. Oh boy thank goodness it went well(: Hahaha. I'll starrt right from the top then.
I went to school felling all hyped about it. I was maybe slightly crazzy. Hahaha. We had GUITAR lessons first <3>
We had macs for dinner and we received Germ's and Jessie's gift. Aww thanks ya'll(: so sweeet. hahaha. Panic began to set in. Everybody was like 'oh no, what if i fall' 'uhh.. what if i do the steps wrongly' heh. Shi Hua told us that jumping helps relieve nervousness. i think its more like you become so tired that you forget that you're actually nervous. hahaha. String started performing and the audience we're screaming like mad. Yups. I was half comforted and scared by that. Rah. My big toes were hurting like mad! When overture started, i was like freaking out! Denise don't be upset alright? yup. DAYWALKER- everything was fine. Then it was my turn to go out(: I smiled a little. not over since i alr looked as though i was even though i wasn't. haha. my soutenus(sp?) were a lil off but ohh well... it went okay. Everything went by so quickly! Fight, Good night, late night, baby and stuff. Finalle was O-K. Doubles sucked to the core! not even one clean double. rahh... Well i was exhausted by then and my toes were crying out for me to free them! ;not literally! hahaha. mmhm. Everything was so fast! all those nasty and horrid practises with blisters here and there for like half a year or less. just to perform for 30 min? Thats whats so unfair. sighs. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANELLLY!
TODAY IS SO FUNNY! and shocking

Firstly, i have to say science CA was rather hard =/ History was rushy... if there is such a word. hahaha. hmm... VT was smaller than i'd imagined. but anw, MY TOES HURT REAL BAD =/ rah. should have cut my nail. sheeesh. yup. and i still hate my teletubie costume. the reh was alright though. but jessie lost and found her shoe bag at the last min. phew. then aft reh, me, shihua, annabel, jamie, noelle and daphne went to marina square to eat. left germaine behind to wait for her mum. yup. so we went to food court and ate and the ORANGEE chair place =D aft having dinner (THE YUMMY CHOCOLATE and fish noodle) annabel me and shi hua went to look for the bus stop.

Here's what happened. We walked in the oirection of the highway and kept talking. then like suddenly we were like.

Spots a double decker bus somewhere in the distance and start walking towards it.
Finallly reaches the bus stop.
Dumb me boards the bus and drops 55 cents in. then we asked the driver, this bus goes to.... bus driver replies, oh. it goes to err... pasir panjang. Oh crap. i lost 55 cents. Shihua goes like huh? gets down the bus and says.... i dont even know where is pasir panjang la. annabel justs laughs the whole time. hahaha. so the bus driver told us to cross the road. then annabel walks towards the t junction only to realise that there isn't a pedestrian crossing. yeah... we jayed across the t junction. okay. this time we hope we're at the correct bus stop. Annabel gets wacky with the cam and starts taking pictures of the bus stop. including the graffiti. hahaha. bus 10 FINALLY comes and we sit right at the back. it was rather entertaining actually((: so funny. then shihua told us how she saw goat intestine in malaysia and annabel told us like how she doesn't eat fruits. oh god. i will die without fruits. well.. i wont die without the smelly papaya. hahaha. shi hua got down and i looked at annabel's doodles. hahaha. yep... thats all. hmm.. why did i blog about EVERYTHING. hahaha.

My brother is being such a biased freak. His school is organising this Beijing trip and he's like I don't want to go to China. Over there is so boring cos nobody laughing in china.
